Living in Nepean-Carleton most of his life, Jean-Luc is a loving husband and father of two lively young girls (two years and 4 months old). Married in Barrhaven/Fallowfield Village, settled in Bells Corners, with many friends and family throughout the riding Jean-Luc has deep roots in the southern Ottawa electoral district.
Jean-Luc owns CertainKey Inc., an information security consultancy firm founded in 2001 after graduating from Engineering from Carleton University. With origins in developing security products used around the world, the firm has expanded into consulting to various government departments.
Living an active lifestyle, Jean-Luc enjoys time spent with friends and family camping, canoeing and participating in community events. Always a strong donor to various charities such as the United Way, he takes his responsibility to give back community seriously.
At the 2010 Green Party of Canada nation convention in Toronto, Jean-Luc advanced the federal party’s policies in the areas important to the people of his riding: sustainable pension reform, protecting long-term disability coverage, and calling for human health studies of industrial wind turbines.
